The Magic House - the St. Louis Children's Museum

Garrett and Erik driving the bus at the Baby & Me exhibit.

I love this boy...

Peek-a-boo!

Climbing up the slide is always more fun!

There was a wall full of buttons, switches and door bells! Garrett's dream!

He turned them off, on, off, on...

Out side the Once Upon a Time exhibit.

A future President?

In the Sunshine Celebration Garden Playhouse.

'I don't need your help, mom.'

I can't believe he went for it...crawled all the way through without our help.

Here I go!

Walking up the stairs...they were for little legs. I hit my head on a low doorway. Ouch!

Down the slide with Daddy!

Giant LEGOs!! Erik and Garrett were excited about these.

He enjoyed the magnets.

Jack & the Beanstalk slide at the Once Upon a Time exhibit.

Playing Minuet in G.

The ABC wall...wish we had one of these at home!

Yay for 'G'! Behind the glass was 'glue'.

Yesterday, Erik and I decided we needed a family day out! We headed for the STL Zoo but while in the charming STL neighborhood of Kirkwood we drove past The Magic House - STL Children's Museum and couldn't resist!! Garrett (and Erik and I) had a blast! There were so many things to do and I look forward to going back in September for the Curious George exhibit! (Garrett LOVES Curious George!) We also ate lunch in Kirkwood beside the Amtrak station and watched the trains. Must be a popular place to bring your kids...lots of little ones there. We did our usual STL errands (Trader Joes, etc) and then met up with some FLW friends for dinner. It was a long day but we had a wonderful time together! Erik and I are making a list of things to do in Missouri before we PCS (where ever that may be).
