Aunt Ashley helping Garrett stand up. He's so serious in front of the camera.
Chewing on the diaper bag. The money we spend on toys and this is what he wants to play with - the straps on his db. Go figure!
The relevance of Dr Pepper runs deep in our family (mostly the Barkley side). Keith, a family friend of the Seholms, gave this "I'm a little Pepper" onesie to Garrett after a visit to the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco. Of the four-plus years I lived in Waco, not once did I go the the DP Museum. How sad is that?! Redgardless, doesn't Garrett look adorable in it? The last picture of was taken at the Port Neches Spray Park. Our plans were diverted to the spray park due to Hurricane Dolly. We were in the car, headed to the beach, when our hostess called to say the power was out and the sky was black. It's funny how a hurricane hundreds of miles away can affect us. But we had fun despite!
Garrett is still on a one way course to crawling or something like it. We'll keep you posted! Also, Garrett said "Da Da" the other day and my mother, Nana Sue, was my witness. He said it twice and hasn't said it since. I wrote Erik immediately to tell him the fun news.
